Mijn naam is Gerrie Koenraad, meisjesnaam Stijl.
Woon sinds eind 2007 in Z.O. Groningen en ben sinds 1992
besmet met het
quiltvirus.
Heb diverse cursussen en workshops gevolgd en ben lid van
het
quiltersgilde.
Mijn kat, Kim, "helpt" me af en toe een pootje
en maakt graag gebruik van mijn werk.
Denk dat meer quiltsters daar last van hebben.
Helaas heeft Kim op 28 april 2010 na 15 jaar veel plezier mij droevig gemaakt.
Gelukkig hebben we een lieve en waardige opvolgster gevonden, Lissy
Ik maak mijn quilts bijna allemaal met de hand en het quilten doe ik
altijd met de hand, vind het n.l. niet mooi met de naaimachine.
Met behulp van foto's (sommige kunt u aanklikken en komt dan vergroot
op het scherm), filmpjes en slideshows wil ik mijn hobby laten zien.
Ik hoop dat u het leuk vindt mijn quilts te bekijken.

My name is Gerrie Koenraad. I am living in a village in SE Groningen
(a region in the
north-eastern part of Holland) and since 1992 infected
with the so called “quilt virus”.
I followed various quilting courses and workshops and became a member
of the Quiltersgilde,
the Dutch quilters society.
My Persian cat, Kim, sometimes “assists” me, but most of the time she is
using my
quilt fabrics for her own purposes. Sadly Kim RIP april 28th 2010.
Happely we have found a lovely successor for Kim, Lissy.
Most of the quilting and patchwork has been done by hand.
I like to show you my hobby by means of pictures, videos and slideshows.
